How we'll handle breeding

Matches on Petromony are about playdates and friendships first. When breeding does come up, we want it done responsibly and within the law.

  • Only registered breeders can list littersWe'll check State Animal Welfare Board registration before a breeder's page goes live.
  • KCI registration supportAdd your dog's Kennel Club of India registration to their profile so lineage is easy to confirm.
  • Health firstBreeding listings will need up-to-date vaccinations and a vet check on record.
  • Adoption gets the front pageShelters and rescues list adoptable pets for free, and they'll be featured across the app.

Questions

When does Indian Petromony launch?

We're opening city by city. Join the waitlist with your city and we'll email you an invite as soon as yours goes live. Cities with the most sign-ups open first.

Is it only for dogs?

We're starting with dogs because that's where most of the demand is. Cats are next, and you'll be able to add them to your profile soon after launch.

Will it cost anything?

Profiles, health records, vet ratings and the community will be free for pet parents. Professionals will be able to list for free during early access.

Is this a dating app for dogs?

Partly, in the sense that it helps your dog find friends. Mostly it's a place for everything in your pet's life: their records, their vets, their people, and the services you rely on.

What happens to my email?

We use it to send your invite and nothing else. We don't share or sell it. You can ask us to delete it at any time by writing to contact@indianpetrimony.com.
